THE exhibit:
This show is a celebration of artists with multiple marginalized identities and backgrounds. In this time when powerful people want to push us further and farther into binaries and boxes, artists will always push back. This work isn't limited by any type of media and explores a multitude of themes that reflect our experiences as multifaceted people.

Multi-Faceted is a show designed to uplift and represent artists from marginalized communities in a fantastic marriage of mixed media. The goal of this exhibition is not only to showcase a diversity of experience but also a diversity of artistic expression/application itself. I hope artists consider the following questions:
-
Why does your work push against preconceived notions?
-
Why fight against these binaries that are forced upon you as an artist or as a person?
-
What stories are dire for you to express?
