Here are some important things to know before you attend the International Folk Festival this year in downtown Fayetteville.

Know before you go!

Where to park:

Paid Event Parking is provided at for $5:

  • Franklin Street Garage

  • Hay Street Garage (Segra Stadium)

  • Donaldson Street Lot

  • R.C. Williams Bldg. Lot

  • Anderson Street Lot

  • Bow Commons

  • City Plaza 1 & 2  (Behind City Hall)

  • Winslow Lot

  • W. Russell Street Lot (behind Winslow Lot)

(Paid parking is not affiliated with or provided by the Arts Council of Fayetteville. Be prepared to pay cash for parking.)

Free Parking is available at:

  • Cumberland County Courthouse

 

Vendor, Volunteer, and Staff parking is provided at:

  • Arts Council Parking Lot

  • Cres Fund Parking Lot on Ray Ave

(If you park in these spaces without a pass your vehicle will be towed)

*The Arts Council is not liable for parking issues including but not limited to damages, theft, or lack of availability.

What to leave at home:

  • Your pets (Only service animals are allowed)

  • Weapons

  • Drugs

  • Outside Alcoholic Beverages

  • Drones

What time does it start?

Saturday

Parade of Nations: 10AM - 12PM

Festival: 12PM - 7PM

Sunday

Festival: 12PM - 6PM

What to bring with you:

  • Cash (ATMs are on site if needed)

  • ID (if you plan on purchasing alcoholic beverages) 

  • Water

  • Comfortable Shoes and Clothes

  • Umbrellas in case of rain

  • Tote bags 

  • An empty belly!

accessiblity

  • Paid parking is the closest to the event. Getting to the event early will help you secure handicapped and close parking. Parking is limited and not guaranteed.

  • TIP: You can drop off guests at the Headquarters Library parking lot to shorten the walking distance.
