THE EXHIBIT:

Our People: The Black Influence in Contemporary Culture celebrated the profound impact of Black individuals on our modern cultural canvas, recognizing the essential role of Black culture in shaping our diverse and rich contemporary world. Through a diverse array of artistic mediums and perspectives, well-versed artists explore themes of resilience, creativity, and pop culture, offering a compelling narrative of the enduring spirit and contributions of the Black community.

Our People: The Black Influence in Contemporary Culture showcased pieces celebrating black culture and its role in shaping the current fine art and cultural landscape.  

Join us as we remember this exhibition and how we celebrated Black Culture throughout Black History Month in the Arts Center this year.
