About the event

Black art serves as the underlying influence on our culture, and in “Our People,” we're diving into the vibrant art that surges underneath the surface. This exhibition explores traditional, non-traditional, and contemporary interpretations of the influence of Black art, providing a platform for artists across various mediums to contribute to a nuanced and collective understanding of this cultural impact.

The Arts Council will be hosting the exhibition at the Arts Center Gallery in Fayetteville, NC from January 26, 2024- March 2nd, 2024.  We are excited to announce that the exhibition will include an award pool and honorable mentions for participants.
