Carolina Cultures- REGISTRATION Summer History Camp (Ages 9-12 yrs) June 24-28, 2024 9:00 am- 3:00 pm daily
Campers must be 9-12 years on the date camp begins to participate.
This event listing is for collecting registration fees and reserving your camper's space. Additional registration forms will be emailed to the email address used to purchase the registration and must be completed and returned within 72 hours to reserve your space. Failure to return the forms will result in losing your reservation and forfeiting the registration fee.
**Students who attend Title I schools in Cumberland County may register for FREE. Use promo code TITLEONEFREE at check out. School registration will be verified by staff. This 5-day camp will explore the cultures of the people that make our state great. From American Indians to Scots Highlanders, European and Spanish immigrants, to the Gullah Geechee of the southern coast, North Carolina is a melting pot of heritage and tradition. Each day of camp will feature special guests, presentations, and hands on activities as students embark on a cultural journey that includes the exploration of history, folkways, nature, the arts, language, and recreation.
