Family Symphony Day in the Garden

Join us for a joyful, family-friendly afternoon where music and nature come together at Cape Fear Botanical Garden, featuring a special live performance from the Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra on Sunday, March 22, 2026. The afternoon begins with the FSO Youth Orchestra at 3pm At 4pm, the Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra will take the stage with a performance inspired by Pastoral Symphony. Throughout the concert, Dr. Stefan Sanders will offer engaging commentary from the stage, helping audiences of all ages better understand the music and its connection to the natural world. Nature-inspired images will be projected on a large screen to deepen the experience. To make the day especially interactive for young music lovers, hands-on children’s activities will take place from 2:30pm until the concert begins, and again after the performance until 5:30pm.
