Designed for dancers of various skill levels, SIEDC’s Contemporary Class will bring dancers back to basics as well as challenge them stylistically. Each class will begin with a warmup rooted in conditioning followed by a deep stretch to properly prepare the body for movement.

About the event
Designed for dancers of various skill levels, SIEDC’s Contemporary Class will bring dancers back to basics as well as challenge them stylistically. Each class will begin with a warmup rooted in conditioning followed by a deep stretch to properly prepare the body for movement. For the remainder of class, dancers will be led through various technical combinations that explore use of momentum, release technique, floor-work, and use of space. By the end of class dancers will have learned and practiced a musically driven movement combination true to SIE’s signature styles; having influences from Jazz, Dance Theater, and Contemporary techniques. Level: Advanced-Beginner Price: $15 single drop-in, $50 for one month of classes
