About the event
The purpose is to create a supportive system for one another as we navigate various roles in life - as fathers, husbands, professionals, leaders, and more. The demands on black men can be overwhelming at times. This event serves as a reminder that it's okay to show emotion and vulnerability. Our feelings and mental health matter too.
By assembling together in black at the courthouse, we aim to change the narrative and show solidarity. For too many, this is the last place they go before their families suffer a great loss. We want to transform this space into one of empowerment, commitment and hope.
During the photoshoot, men will have the opportunity to find or be a mentor. We can learn from one another's experiences and help the next generation of black men reach their full potential, whatever that may be.
This is a chance to reconnect as brothers, know you are not alone, and feel supported by a community of strong, professional black men. Let's strengthen our bonds as we continue uplifting each other and our communities.
